Sell Just Dial, Union Bank, DLF, says Ashwani Gujral

In an  interview to CNBC-TV18, Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com & Jai Bala of cashthechaos.com shared their readings and outlook on market and specific stocks and sectors.

Ashwani Gujral’s recommendations are as follows:

Sell Just Dial with a stop of Rs 428 and a target of Rs 405.

Sell Union Bank with a stop of Rs 98, target of Rs 90.

Sell DLF with a stop of Rs 219, target of Rs 206.

Keeping a positive view on infrastructure sector: SP Tulsian

In an interview with CNBC-TV18, SP Tulsian of sptulsian.com shared his reading and outlook on the market and also gave recommendations on various stocks.

“We have been keeping a very positive view on infrastructure sector”, he said.

“There are more than 50 companies available in this space but taking a call on the stocks which are available at an expected earnings on FY19 basis”, added Tulsian.

Nifty could touch 10,280 points if breaks below 10,380 pts: Experts

After Nifty hit the lower boundary yesterday and came back, it is expected to range between 10,350 points and 10,360 points today which is also important to maintain the strength. If it breaks below 10,350 points, it could possibly touch 10,280 points, anticipate market experts.

While, on the upside,  they expect Nifty to touch 10,480 points, or move even further to 10,520 points.

Among the ‘buy’ stocks are:

  • NIIT (all time high),
  • TV Today,
  • Tech Mahindra,
  • Divis Lab, etc.

Whereas the ones to be sold are

  • Tata Steel
  • and ONCG.

Events like bypolls and Trump’s tax impositions are unlikely to affect Indian markets.

Future Consumer recovers, eyeing at expansion over 5 years

FMCG major Future Consumer is trading in green, hinting at a good growth for a long-term with its expected sales to be at Rs 20,000 crore by FY21.

The company witnessed a drastic fall with its stock prices going as low as Rs 50 per share after which it initiated coverage with buy rating, targeting to pull share price upto Rs 76 per share.

The company currently seems to be in the best place from revenue and profit perspective.

Nifty expected to stand between 10,440 and 10,450 after yesterday’s high

As the market closed at high yesterday, investors are keen to know as to which stocks are expected to do well today to bring gains.

However, market experts suggest that one should refrain from buying if there is a decline today as it may see further fall. The nearly tested target of Nifty today stands at 10,440 to 10,450 points.  If it moves beyond 10, 450, it could add to the strength.

Stocks to buy today are NCC, V guard, NIIT tech, Kotak Mahindra, Tata Global as they are expected to remain stable in green.

Being a defensive sector, IT currently a good place to invest in: Mukul Kochhar

Talking about the widening current account deficit, Mukul Kochhar, Head of Institutional Sales, Investec Capital Services, said that the scenario may get rupee under pressure.

Considering the circumstances, Kochhar said that technology, being a defensive sector, was one of the best areas to invest in.

“As a defense against the rupee, IT is a good place to be in”, he said.
