Foreign portfolio investor buys 9 lakh Mayur Uniquoters shares

Small Cap World Fund, a foreign portfolio investor, bought about 9 lakh shares of Mayur Uniquoters from the market yesterday. They were existing shareholders in the company.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Suresh Kumar Poddar, CMD & CEO of Mayur Uniquoters said that the company is expecting a better growth this year at around 15% to 17%.
Talking about the business of the company this year, Poddar said “Things are looking lucrative. The market was down last year because of GST and demonetization. I expect that the market will be fine in the coming next or 2 months.”
“We are trying to cut costs to increase efficiency to keep the margin intact but the decisions will be taken within 2 weeks”, he said.
