BJP’s Ved Prakash defeated SP’s Tej Narayan with a margin of 19990 votes from Ayodhya assembly constituency.

Ayodhya is an assembly constituency in the Ayodhya district, in the Awadh region of the state of Uttar Pradesh .

The Ayodhya legislative assembly constituency went to polls on February 27, 2022.

The assembly seat is reserved for the General category and it falls in the Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency.

A total of 10 candidates are contesting from Ayodhya constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Ved Prakash from Bharatiya Janata Party is leading the race so far with total votes of 1,12,169, followed by Tej Narayan of Samajwadi Party with 92,067 votes.
