These 3 players have scored multiple IPL centuries for CSK, ft. Ruturaj Gaikwad

Shane Watson hit a couple of centuries in his maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) season with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2018, including a match-winning ton in the final against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Wankhede Stadium. Murali Vijay scored a century each for CSK in the 2010 and 2012 editions of the IPL. He was one of the key pillars of the success that CSK saw in the first few seasons, displaying some sublime skillsets against seamers and spinners alike. Vijay hit 2619 runs in his 106-match-long IPL career, where he averaged 25.39 with a strike rate of 121.81. In addition to the two tons, he also brought up 13 half-centuries in the tournament. On Tuesday, Ruturaj Gaikwad became the third CSK batter to score two centuries for the Super Kings in the IPL. Having batted at No. 3 in the last few games, Gaikwad opted to open the batting in this game, and optimised the opportunity by first milking the powerplay overs and then keeping the intent intact even when the fields opened up later on. He finally touched the three-figure mark in the 19th over against Mohsin Khan, lobbing the ball over the extra covers region as he brought out his helmet and celebrated in jubilation.
