With the eventful final series of FY17 now out of the way. What does the April series hold in store for us? Mangalam Maloo has a detailed analysis.
Last three April series – April 2015 series saw a cut of close to 2% but April 2016 and April 2017 have been good for markets. The market has seen gains of almost 1.5-2% in the last two April series.
The April moves mirrors the moves that we see in March so if March ended in the red, April ended in the red as well and this time March did end in the red close to 270 points.
April series becomes all the more important because the rollovers picked up over March series so we saw 69 percent of positions being rolled over.
