National Pet Day: 9 low-maintenance pets that are easy to take care of

National Pet Day is celebrated on April 11 every year and is dedicated to those pets who may not always receive the companionship they deserve. This day also celebrates the happiness that pets bring into people’s lives and encourages them to help reduce the number of animals in shelters. Welcoming pets into a home is a lot of fun. However, they require constant maintenance, which can be a task. This space articulates the 10 low-maintenance pets. (Image: Shutterstock)
