realme C65 5G launches in India at ₹10,499, first sale to begin at 4 pm

Smartphone maker realme, on Friday, launched the realme C65 5G, the newest member of its C Series lineup.
The device features a 6.67-inch HD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of maximum brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G Chipset with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The RAM is also virtually expandable up to 12GB.
The realme C65 5G also comes with features like “Air Gestures” that allows you to answer calls or mute incoming calls using hand gestures. You can also swipe up and down while watching short videos like Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts to switch between them without needing to touch the screen.
The power button also functions as a “Dynamic Button”, allowing you to customise its actions apart from just locking/unlocking the display. It can be used to access flashlight, mute function, camera, music, etc.
On the back is a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor. The front houses an 8MP selfie camera.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. It is also rated IP54 for water and dust resistance and comes with a “Rainwater Smart Touch” that lets you unlock your phone, answer calls, enter the password, etc. without needing to wipe the water off of it.

It is priced at ₹10,499 for the 4GB+64GB model and goes as high as ₹12,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The first sale of the smartphone will begin at 4 pm on April 26.
