Infinix GT 20 Pro and GTBook to launch in India on May 21: Here is what we know

Smartphone maker Infinix announced on Friday that it will launch the latest additions to its gaming ecosystem — the Infinix GT Verse — on May 21.
The launch will include the Infinix GT 20 Pro smartphone and GTBook laptop. “GT 20 Pro features a mecha loop-LED interface and game lighting effects whereas GTBook comes with a Mecha bar with customisable RGB Lighting and four-zone lighting RGB keyboard,” the company said in a press release.
The accessories compatible with the devices will include MagCase, Finger Sleeves and cooling fan, RGB mat, RGB headphone and RGB mouse.

If the Indian variant is the same as the one in global markets, here is what users can expect from the smartphone.
The international model of the GT 20 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset with 8GB/12GB RAM options and 256GB of storage. The RAM is also virtually extendable up to 24GB.
The device features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to 144 Hz of refresh rate and 1,300 nits of peak brightness. Also, the sound on the GT 20 Pro is powered by JBL.
The main camera on the back is a 108MP sensor with two 2MP additional lenses — a depth and a macro. The selfie camera is 32MP.
The “mecha loop-LED interface” features RBG mini-LED eight colour combos with four lighting effects.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 45W of fast charging. It is also rated IP54 for water and dust resistance.
The device runs on XOS for GT, based on Android 14, and comes in three colour variants — Mecha Blue/Mecha Orange/Mecha Silver. On the international variant, Infinix also offers two major Android upgrades and three years of security updates.
Any details about the specifications of the Infinix GTBook are not currently available on the company’s website. We will have to wait till May 21 to find out more.
