Dell Technologies launched the Alienware x16 R2 gaming laptop in India on Thursday. This latest addition to the Alienware lineup is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors.
The Alienware x16 R2, with its 16-inch display, offers a 240Hz refresh rate on a 16:10 display and HDR FHD IR webcam.
Combined with support for up to Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, the laptop is ready for AI-accelerated performance, allowing for higher graphics rendering capabilities and editing prowess.
It also features a Cryo-tech thermal management, incorporating Vapor Chamber technology and Element 31 thermal interface material applied across both the CPU and GPU. The inclusion of embedded quad-fans with ultra-thin blades is said to ensure efficient cooling even under demanding workloads, maintaining optimal temperature balance throughout the system.
With a focus on design, the Alienware x16 R2 sports the Legend 3 design, boasting a full-metal chassis constructed with anodised aluminium and magnesium alloy.
Commenting on the launch, Pujan Chadha, Director of Product Marketing, Consumer and Small Business, Dell Technologies, India, expressed excitement about the superior performance and futuristic design of the Alienware x16 R2, stating that it represents a significant refresh of the iconic Alienware x16, ensuring gaming glory at every turn.
The Alienware x16 R2 will be available for purchase starting April 25, across various platforms including Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), Dell.com, Amazon, larger format retail, and multi-brand outlets. Prices for the Alienware x16 R2 start at ₹2,86,990.
