Acer launches TravelLite laptop for business professionals

PC maker Acer, on Monday, introduced the TravelLite laptop, specially designed for businesses. Weighing 1.34 kg, the TravelLite is said to cater to professionals who are always on the go. It features a 14-inch FHD Antiglare TFT LCD with a 180-degree hinge and an aluminium chassis.

According to Acer, the laptop lineup runs on a range of Intel Core processors and has Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. It comes with up to 64GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. For I/O, it has USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and a USB Type-C Full functional port.

Acer has also packed a suite of security features including Trusted Platform Module (TPM), discrete TPM 2.0, BIOS user and supervisor passwords, a Kensington lock slot, and an optional fingerprint reader.

“Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, expressed enthusiasm for the TravelLite, stating, “With its robust processors, durable construction, and eco-friendly design, TravelLite reflects Acer’s commitment to innovation in Make in India efforts. This device offers professionals a reliable and high-performance computing solution that adapts to their changing needs, enabling uninterrupted productivity while on the move.”

Furthermore, Acer is promising a battery life of up to 10 hours with support for 45W or 65W fast-charging options. Additional features include a spill-resistant keyboard, with an option for backlight illumination, and built-in click pads with Microsoft Precision multi-gesture and scrolling functions for enhanced user control.

The Acer TravelLite starts at 34,990.
