Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Will Jacks showed no mercy on the Gujarat Titans batter as he powered his way to an unbeaten hundred during the two teams’ clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
Jacks smashes 100 runs off only 41 balls as RCB chased down the target of 201 set by GT. The hard hitting batter hammered 10 sixes and 5 fours during his knock.
During the chase, Jacks was well supported by Virat Kohli from the other end, Kohli scored an unbeaten 70.
The hundred by the English all-rounder is now the fifth fastest century in the history of the IPL. Jacks overtook Adam Gilchrist’s record. Gilchrist had scored a 43-ball hundred for Deccan Chargers against Mumbai Indians during the 2008 season of the IPL.
