Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) occupy the other two playoffs spots, with both of them being at eight points each. Lucknow Super Giants (6) and Gujarat Titans (6) are hovering around the top-four, and they can break into the same pretty conveniently if things start turning in their favour as the campaign progresses.

Things are equally complicated at the bottom of the table. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have not had things going right for them, with the team securing only two points out of their seven games so far. Punjab Kings (PBKS), Mumbai Indians (MI), and the Delhi Capitals (DC) are stuck at four points each until now. Though they are not out of the race for the playoffs, these teams need to get their act together soon to avoid any late slip-ups.
