Pakistan captain Babar Azam has revealed plans to tackle star batter Virat Kohli when his side takes on India at the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Babar made the statement ahead of Pakistan’s first T20I match against Ireland. Pakistan are touring Ireland for a three-match T20I series to build up for the showpiece event.
“As a team, you always plan against different teams and according to their strengths. We do not plan anything against one player. We plan for all 11 players. We do not know much about the conditions in New York and we will plan accordingly. He [Virat Kohli] is one of the best players and we will plan against him as well” Babar said in the pre-match conference.
India and Pakistan are clubbed with co-hosts the USA, Canada and Ireland in Group A.
The last time India and Pakistan locked horns at the T20 World Cup, Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 82 in 53 balls helped India chase down 160 with 4 wickets to spare.
