PNB Housing Finance on Monday reported a 57.3% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit at ₹439.3 crore in the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2024. The same was ₹279.3 crore in the year-ago period.
The consolidated net interest income for the quarter rose 7.2% to ₹623.2 crore, compared with ₹581.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
The board of PNB Housing Finance has approved a proposal for issuance of NCDs (non-convertible debentures) up to ₹2,500 crore on a private placement basis in one or more tranches.
Following the earnings announcement, shares of PNB Housing Finance Ltd. climbed 8% from day’s low of ₹764.50. The stock has gained more than 70% over the last 12 months.
