Inox Wind gets repeat order from Hero Future Energies for 3 MW wind turbine generators

Inox Wind Ltd on Friday, April 19, said it has received an order for the supply of 210MW of wind turbine generators (WTGs) from Hero Future Energies (HFE).

The wind energy solutions provider mentioned that it is a repeat order from HFE, which is one of the leading renewable energy players in the country.

The company bagged the order for its 3 MW Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). The WTGs will be supplied from the third quarter of FY25 onwards and will be installed in South India.

As per the order, the company will supply equipment and provide certain add-on services. Inox Wind will also provide post-commissioning multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

Inox Wind is a part of the $8-billion INOXGFL Group, which is into chemicals and renewable energy businesses.

Inox Wind management in a conference call in February had told analysts that numerous order wins in the last quarter of FY24 had taken the total order book to around 2.6 GW, providing strong revenue growth visibility.

The company bagged a large 279 MW order from a large commercial and industrial player, another 50 MW order from Navratna CPSU which is NLC India, as well as the recent mega order win of 1,500 MW single largest order from CESC.

The CESC order was the single largest wind order ever awarded to any OEM in the country.

Inox Wind shares were trading 0.45% lower at ₹539.85 apiece on the BSE at 9.45AM.
