Cyient DLM Q4 Results | Net profit soars 80% led by aerospace and defence deals

Electronic manufacturing services firm Cyient DLM Ltd on Tuesday (April 23) reported an 80.2% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit at ₹22.7 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter, Cyient DLM posted a net profit of ₹12.6 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company’s revenue from operations increased 30.4% to ₹361.8 crore against ₹277.4 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.
At the operating level, EBITDA rose 18.8% to ₹37.9 crore in the fourth quarter of this fiscal over ₹31.9 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. The EBITDA margin stood at 10.5% in the reporting quarter versus 11.5% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

Anthony Montalbano, CEO of Cyient DLM, said, “The robust growth for this year was led by aerospace and defence (A&D) segments. Large deals in A&D constitute a major portion of order book and pipeline and are expected to contribute towards FY25 & FY26 growth.”
Cyient DLM has won key large deals in FY24 and has a strong pipeline for the coming years. During the year, the company inaugurated two new facilities.
The precision machining facility in Bengaluru will cater to incremental demand from existing customers and will enable new opportunities and partnerships. The new EMS facility in Mysuru will focus on growth in the critical medical and industrial sectors.
Outlook
Cyient DLM’s outlook for FY25 continues to be strong and the company expects strong growth backed by its order book and strong relationships with key clients. The company’s focus will be on expanding its geographic footprint globally through inorganic expansion.
