Rampur, one of Uttar Pradesh’s 80 Lok Sabha constituencies, is set to vote for the 2024 general elections in the first phase on April 19. Suar, Chamraua, Bilaspur, Rampur, and Milak are the five assembly segments in the Rampur seat. This is a general category constituency.

This constituency will vote on April 19. Votes are set to be counted on June 4. The constituency recorded a 63.45% voter turnout in the 2019 elections.

The Rampur Lok Sabha seat will witness a triangular contest between Mohibullah Nadvi, the Samajwadi Party candidate, sitting MP Ghanshyam Lodhi of the BJP and Zeeshan Khan of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
Mohibullah Nadvi represents the India bloc, which has the support of AAP and the Congress.

2019 results
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Mohammad Azam Khan of the SP won the seat by 109,997 votes. With a 53% vote share, Khan beat BJP candidate Jayaprada Nahata, who received 449,180 votes, or 42.33% of the total.
However, after winning the Karhal assembly seat in 2022, the SP leader quit the post. Following that, Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi of the BJP defeated Mohammad Asim Raja of the SP by more than 42,000 votes in a by-poll.
