After his release, the Delhi CM, amid celebrations by AAP workers outside Tihar jail and his residence, expressed gratitude, stating, “I want to thank all of you. You gave me your blessings. I want to thank the judges of the Supreme Court, it is because of them that I am in front of you. We have to save the country from dictatorship.”
“Tomorrow at 11 am, we will visit the Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place, and at 1 pm, we will hold a press conference at the party office,” he announced.

Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 and was lodged in Tihar Jail under judicial custody. The matter relates to alleged corruption and money laundering in the formulation and execution of the Delhi government’s now-scrapped excise policy for 2021-22.
After the Supreme Court announced his interim bail, the AAP workers distributed sweets and celebrated outside the Tihar jail.
June 1 is the last date of voting in the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections. The counting of votes is on June 4.
