Aero India 2021: Offering F-21 exclusively; tremendous Make In India opportunity, says Lockheed Martin

The 13th edition of India’s annual air show and exhibition, Aero India, commenced in Bengaluru’s Yela-Hanka Air Force Base today (February 3). Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who was present at the exhibition, spoke about the indigenous development of aircraft under Aatmanirbhar Bharat and also about the vast scope India offers in the defence sector.

William Blair, VP and Chief Executive of Lockheed Martin said that they are looking forward to the requirements for Multirole Fighter Aircraft (MRFA).

“We are looking forward to the requirement coming up for the MRFA. We are offering the F-21 and it is a tremendous Make In India opportunity under Aatmanirbhar Bharat. It is part of a family of aircraft that are leading the world and it offers incredible capabilities,” he said in an interview to CNBC-TV18.

He added that the F-21 is being offered exclusively to India and provides unmatched capabilities.
