Not too long ago, the teaser of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Pushpa 2 : The Rule took the Internet by storm. Now, keeping the excitement intact, makers have dropped the promo of the first single from the film. The song, which explores the character Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun, has been composed by Chandra Bose, while Devi Sri Prasad came on board to lend his voice, adding the thrill to the already electrifying track.
The lyrical promo of the song has Pushpa Pushpa Pushpa chants in the background while Allu Arjun spreads his magic on the celluloid. The promo boasts the eccentric style of the protagonist, delivering the adrenaline rush and leaving the fans excited about the song’s release. The makers also revealed that the song will be released on May 1, 2024, at 11:07 am.
The Pushpa 2 team, helmed by Sukumar, is leaving no stone unturned to create the hype around the much-awaited project. Months ahead of the release, the team unveiled the teaser of the movie on Allu Arjun’s birthday. The teaser showcased Allu Arjun in a never-before-seen avatar. Dressed in a saree, the actor wore heavy makeup and jewellery made of gold and flowers. His face painted in shades of blue and red further added to his enigma.
The film’s female lead Rashmika Mandanna, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, remarked that it would be ‘bigger’ than ever. She said, “I can promise you that Pushpa 2 is going to be so much bigger. We gave some madness in the first film; in part 2, we know we have a responsibility because people have so much expectation from the film. We are constantly and consciously trying to deliver that.”
The Sukumar directorial will also witness Fahadh Faasil reprise his role from Pushpa 1, while Samantha Ruth Prabhu may play a cameo.
