The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared the results of Class 10. Students can access and download their results by visiting the official website of WBBSE at wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.
The students, who took the Class 10 exams, are required to have their registration number/roll number and date of birth to check the scorecard. This year, the pass percentage is over 86 per cent after 9.10 lakh students appeared for the examination. Around 7.6 lakh have passed the exams.
Chandrachur Sen from Cooch Behar has topped the West Bengal Class 10 exam, scoring 99%, while Purulia’s Samyapriya Guru ranked second with 98.68% marks.
In total, 57 students have made it to the top 10 list of the WB Madhyamik Result 2024.
WBBSE conducted the Madhyamik board exams from February 2 to February 12, 2024, and nearly 8 lakh students enrolled for the examination.
Steps to access the WBBSE result:
1- Visit the official websites of the board at wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in
2- On the homepage, look for the link for West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2024.
3- A new page will appear on the screen with the link.
4- Enter the login credentials like date of birth and roll number and submit it.
5- The WBBSE result will be open on the screen.
6- Download it and take a printout for future reference.
The students must secure a minimum of 34% in all subjects to pass the West Bengal Class 10th exam.
In 2023, the overall pass percentage was 86.15%.
