The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 hall tickets have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday, May 2. The candidates can download their hall tickets from the official websites at exams.nta.ac.in and neet.ntaonline.in.
Students are required to have their application number and date of birth to check the NEET 2024 admit card.
NEET 2024 is scheduled to be held in a pen-paper-based mode on May 5, in a single shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The exam will be conducted in 571 cities in India and 14 cities outside the country with a duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes in languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, etc. The result will be announced on June 14 and all candidates must carry the hall ticket to the exam centre.
Candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards at the earliest to avoid any last-minute hassles.
The NEET UG 2024 is conducted in four subjects and will consist of two sections in each subject. Section A will have 35 questions, while Section B 15 questions. Candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has received as many as 23,81,833 applications for NEET UG 2024 which will be held on Sunday, May 5.
How to download NEET 2024 hall tickets?
Step 1: Visit the NTA Official website at neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On, the home page, click on NEET UG 2024 Admit card link.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen for login details.
Step 4: Submit the required details like registration number and date of birth.
Step 5: Check and download the admit card and keep a hard copy.
Candidates can contact the National Testing Agency (NTA) at neet@nta.ac.in or 011-40759000 for any queries regarding the NEET UG 2024 examination.
Earlier, the agency made it clear in a public notice dated April 9 that applicants with inked fingers following their Lok Sabha election vote are not prohibited from entering the NEET exam hall.
“It has been reported to the National Testing Agency, (NTA) that messages are circulating in social media, claiming that individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations conducted by NTA.
“The above messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instruction/guideline. Students are requested not to pay attention to such rumours and to exercise their voting rights. Voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations. The candidates are advised to focus on their studies and prepare for the forthcoming examinations,” the NTA said.
