Ferrato’s e-bike ‘Disruptor’ now open for pre-booking, claims running cost of ₹1 per 4 km

Okaya EV’s premium brand, Ferrato, has commenced pre-bookings for its inaugural electric bike, the “Disruptor”. The pre-booking phase begins today, with the first 1000 customers eligible to reserve the Disruptor for just ₹500.

Following this introductory offer, the pre-booking price will rise to ₹2,500. The official price of the Disruptor will be unveiled on May 2, 2024.

The Disruptor is equipped with a PMSM motor delivering a peak power of 6.37 kW and achieving a top speed of 95 km/h. It features a torque of 228 Nm and offers a range of 129 km on a single charge, facilitated by its 3.97 kWh battery capacity. The company asserts that the bike can be operated for 25 paise per km, equivalent to ₹1 per 4 km.

Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya EV, expressed his enthusiasm about the pre-bookings for the Disruptor. He remarked, “This electric marvel combines unmatched power, cutting-edge design, and advanced technology, offering an exhilarating ride for sports bike enthusiasts and fans alike.”

Okaya EV’s previous launch was the Motofaast scooter, priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom). The Motofaast, boasting a top speed of 70 kmph, is equipped with a dual battery system, offering a combined capacity of 3.53 kWh.

Okaya EV asserts that its Motofaast e-scooter provides a riding range of up to 130 km on a single charge and takes approximately 4-5 hours to charge to full capacity.

Furthermore, the company has announced plans to establish premium service centres for the Ferrato sub-brand and intends to establish more than 100 dealerships for the premium brand.
