Escorts expects to sell nearly 10,000 tractors this festive season

Bharat Madan, CFO of Escorts, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the auto sales numbers and company’s business plans.

“The festive season this year is a bit delayed so stocking will also get delayed accordingly,” Madan said.

“We do not see any pressure happening on the number front and we see the growth momentum to continue,” he added.

On the tractor front, Madan said, “I think Q3 is going to be a bumper quarter for the industry so we are also expecting a bumper average and it would be touching almost 10,000 tractors this time.”
