West Bengal polls 2021 LIVE Updates: West Bengal is gearing up for the fourth phase of voting with all three key contenders—the ruling Mamata Banerjee-led TMC, the Congress-Left Front alliance, and Bharatiya Janata Party—aiming to woo the voters. The fourth phase elections will be held in 44 assembly constituencies spread across five districts. Polling will be held in this phase in urban Howrah, parts of South 24 Parganas that are adjacent to Kolkata, urban parts of Hooghly, besides Alipurduar and Coochbehar.

Campaigning for the high-decibel fourth phase of polling, for 44 assembly seats scheduled in five districts of West Bengal on April 10, ended at 5 pm on
Thursday.

So far, three out of the eight phases of West Bengal’s assembly elections are now over and the electorate in 91 constituencies have already cast their votes.
